Guide 4: Navigating and Using Library Research Guides

Introduction: What are Library Research Guides?

Library Research Guides, often called LibGuides, are created by Coulter Librarians. Think of them as research roadmaps, helping students find the best resources for a specific topic, course, or assignment. Expertly curated, each guide features useful databases, physical and electronic resources, and highlights reliable websites, all of which are packed with high-quality, relevant, and authoritative information. Our Research Guides are a fantastic and reliable starting point for any research project.

Beyond our subject specific guides, we’ve built guides to support your students' research skills, offering helpful tips and guidance on research strategies, citation styles, and source evaluation, all geared to boost student information literacy skills.
