Step one. Set aside time to search for OER

Step two. Look at your current text and find out if it is currently available for free through library databases.

Step three. Locate an OER textbook. Find out if there is a whole OER textbook already exists.

Step 4. Brows open repositories to see what content is available.

Step 5. Supplement with additional materials to achieve your learning outcomes.

Step 6. Ask a librarian for help.
